The Roast Ox Inn is also the headquarters of BOPA - the British Outdoor Professionals Association. FreeRein & The Great Cambrian Horse Trail Network -   FreeRein offers riders the opportunity of travelling the hills of Wales on horseback without guides or escorts. With 600+ miles of trails to explore and 30+ farms and inns to stay at, the Cambrian Horse Trail Network is unique. If you do not wish to ride unescorted there are 'Guided Rides'. For novice riders and their partners 'Onto the Trail' courses mean that the FreeRein experience is open to all.
The Wye & Usk Foundation is a registered charity concerned with restoring the habitat, water quality and fisheries of the rivers Wye and Usk.
